Omnipod
Omnipod is a patch insulin pump device that is made by Insulet.
It is a small, lightweight and tubeless Pod that is controlled by a smartphone like device called a Personal Diabetes Manager (PDM).
There are currently two Omnipod devices:
- Omnipod Dash (Omnipod | Digital)
- Omnipod 5 (Omnipod® 5 Automated Insulin Delivery System)
Each Pod delivers up to 3 days of non-stop insulin, with a capacity of 200 units.
